Book Release on 4th October 2009

The book release function was held on 4th October 2009 at Vallabhanikethana, Kumara Park East in the presence of eminent Poets and Writers. President of Gangeya Sahithyasakthara Vedike, Mr. Sreenath presided over the function and Mr. CN Ramesh spoke on the occasion . Mrs. Veena Mahendra gave a brief introduction on Mr. Ramesh. In the midst of Mr. Ramesh’s address to the gathering, the book was released by Mr. C.R Harish, the CEO of People & Profession and Spick & Span Services along with Mr. G.K.L. Rajan – a renowed Kannada poet and Mr. Savi Raju-Radio & TV Personality.

About the Author

Veena Mahendra is a bilingual poet / writer, in Kannada and English, and has published her short stories, poems and articles in Kannada Newspapers / Magazines such as “Sanjevani”, “Vikrama” and “Utthana”. Her literary works also include translated articles from English to Kannada. She was also associated with Vikrama as a Proof Reader in the year 2004.

Veena is into writing since her school days and has published many essays, short stories, poems in School / College Magazines as well as in the monthly bulletins of the organizations she has worked with. She is the Secretary for “Garden City Poetry Circle” in Bangalore.

A B.Com graduate with an MBA in HR is also fascinated towards General Psychology and has read related books. In fact, most of the novels she has read are psychological thrillers. Apart from writing, her other hobbies include listening to music and pencil sketching.

She is the Director of People & Profession (a company which is into Training & Development, Placement Services, Psychological Counselling, Facility Management and Event Management) and also Spick & Span Services.
